Terms of Service

These terms cover the MarkMyChat browser extension, markmychat.com and MarkMyChat Pro. By using them you agree to these terms.

1. The service

MarkMyChat exports AI conversations you can already see in your browser into files on your device. It is an automated copy-paste: it does not access chats you are not logged into and does not send your conversations to us.

2. Your use

• Export only conversations you have the right to keep. You are responsible for what you do with exported content.
• Follow the terms of the AI platforms you use (OpenAI, Anthropic, Google and others).
• Do not resell, share or publish licence keys, or try to bypass the licence check.

3. Pro plans and billing

• Pro is sold monthly, yearly or as a one-time lifetime licence. Payments are processed by Polar (polar.sh), the merchant of record, which also handles sales tax and VAT.
• Subscriptions renew automatically until cancelled. Cancel any time from your receipt email or account page; you keep Pro until the end of the paid period.
• One licence covers one person on up to 3 browsers.
• Lifetime means the life of the MarkMyChat product: you get Pro and its updates for as long as we sell and maintain it, with no renewal charge. If we ever stop, the features you already have keep working on your device.
• Prices can change for new purchases. Existing subscriptions keep their price unless we tell you at least 30 days ahead.

4. Refunds

Full refund within 7 days of a payment, no questions asked. Details in the refund policy.

5. Platform changes

AI platforms change their pages often, which can break an export until we ship a fix. We work to fix breakages quickly but cannot promise every platform works at every moment. MarkMyChat is not affiliated with OpenAI, Anthropic, Google, xAI, DeepSeek, Perplexity or Meta.

6. No warranty, limited liability

MarkMyChat is provided "as is". Keep your own copies of anything important. To the extent the law allows, our total liability for any claim is limited to what you paid us in the 12 months before the claim.
